HÀ NỘI — Saigon Heat will look to end their losing streak when they host Kaohsiung Truth of Taiwan during their ASEAN Basketball League match at HCM City’s CIS Arena today.

In their meeting last week the Vietnamese side lost 82-83.

However their import Christien Charles has not yet recovered from a herniated disk injury. For the mean time, the Heat will be relying on a temporary reinforcement in import Haminn Quaintance, who had 19 points against the Truth last week.

Other players will also help. Lenny Daniel had 25 points on 50 per cent shooting and 12 rebounds while Joshua Munzon added 19 points in the loss to Kaohsiung.

With four losses the Heat are at the bottom of the table. The Truth are one spot higher.

The Singapore Slingers are on top with seven wins and one loss. They are followed by Hong Kong Eastern Long Lions and Alab Pilipinas.

Reigning champions Westports Malaysia Dragons are struggling in fourth position with one win and three defeats. — VNS
