Free guided walks at Majjistral Nature and History Park on SundayMalta’s first national park – the Majjistral Nature and History Park – is celebrating the 10th anniversary with a series of activities throughout this month and the coming year.

Starting this Sunday, the 26th of November, at 10am families and nature lovers are invited to take part in free guided walks which will be held throughout the day and to enjoy the beauty of the autumn season.

On the day, visitors will meet at the Park’s Visitor Centre where they will be welcomed and have the opportunity to watch the introductory documentary about nature and the life at the Park.

The free guided walks by volunteers and park experts, information about the Park and its endeavours, will be carried out between 10am till 4.pm. at 10.30am, 12.30pm, 1.30pm and 2.30pm.

At the end of each walk visitors will be given a 10th Anniversary pack as a souvenir. The public is invited to participate in numbers so the Park can be enjoyed by many.

      Best try and dodge the Neanderthals loosing off with their shotguns during this walk! Nature and History Park + Hunting= Only in Malta.

      Wonder if the 10th Anniversary pack contains a signed picture of a Neanderthal shooting a bird in the park?
