Jays earn all-WDA honors
Jamestown High School seniors Devin Hofmann, Connor Fuchs and Matthew Schneider earned all-West Region boys hockey honors, while freshman Ella Roaldson made the all-region girls team.
Hofmann and Fuchs combined for 64 points (30 goals, 34 assists) this season, while Schneider stopped 92 percent of the shots he faced for 13-10-0 Blue Jays.
Jamestown boys hockey coach Matt Stockert was also selected West Region Coach of the Year. The Blue Jays will play Fargo Davies in the state tournament quarterfinals Thursday in Grand Forks.
Roaldson led the Blue Jay girls with 14 total points (10 goals, four assists). Jamestown finished the season at 2-19-2.
