Cape Verde ready to contribute to development of Angola

Luanda, ANGOLA, December 14 - The Republic of Cape Verde is open to participate in Angola's development process, mainly in the civil construction, agriculture and tourism sectors as well as to strengthen bilateral cooperation.,

This fact was released Thursday by the Island nation ambassador to Angola, Jorge Figueiredo, at the end of an audience with the National Assembly Speaker, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos.

The diplomat, who presented the credentials letters last November to the President of the Republic, João Lourenço,  pointed out the ways that Cabo Verde is preparing to collaborate in Angola's development provess.

Jorge Figueiredo, is a physician by profession and former Mayor of  Sal Municipality and presented  an invitation letter of the Cape Verde  National Assembly Speaker to his Angolan counterpart, Fernando da Piedade Dias dos Santos, to participate in the General Assembly of the CPLP next April, in  Praia City.

The Cooperation between Angola and Cape Verde in the Parliamentary field was embodied in the Protocol of Cooperation between the two countries celebrated on May 28, 1999.
