YPO is widely regarded as one of the premier leadership organizations for chief executives in the world.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA, UNITED STATES, October 4, 2018 /EINPresswire.com/ -- Founded in the fall of 1950 by Ray Hickok, the 68-year-old YPO, previously the Young Presidents' Organization, empowers more than 25,000 members in over 130 countries to succeed in business. With members including serial entrepreneurs and experienced executives such as Scott Damron, founder Hickok laid the groundwork to create a unique organization for chief executive peers.

Hickok was just 27 years old when he became the head of his family's New York-based 300 employee company. He would soon after go on to found the Young Presidents' Organization, which is today widely known as YPO.

"We're a collective of peer leaders," reveals Damron of his participation within the organization, "committed to lifelong learning and the exchange of ideas in an environment of trust, respect, and confidentiality for our community."

Damron is an experienced executive and serial entrepreneur with a business background in sales, business development, and marketing strategy, with a particular focus on the healthcare and hospital sectors.

Earlier this year, Forbes magazine released its annual '30 Under 30' list, honoring game-changing executives and entrepreneurs across a variety of industries, all under the age of 30. "Three of the top 30 this year are YPO members," reveals Damron of the list. The trio consists of 30-year-old Stephan Goss, co-founder of Zeeto, 28-year-old Luke Schoenfelder, CEO and co-founder of Latch, and 29-year-old Daniel Sillman, CEO of Relevent Sports.

Speaking of the news, YPO social media manager Jovie Baclayon remarked, "Congratulations to the three YPO members named to the 2018 Forbes magazine '30 Under 30' list in the United States."

"It's great recognition for the organization," Damron continues, "and well deserved by Stephan Goss, Luke Schoenfelder, and Daniel Sillman."

Globally, 25,000 YPO members now regularly come together in cities from Los Angeles to London, Dubai to Dallas, and Sao Paulo to Singapore. From humble beginnings, YPO has achieved countless milestones to become one of the premier leadership organizations for chief executives in the world, according to Damron. "Following almost 70 years of innovation and global expansion, the value of connections with fellow peer leaders remains undiminished," he explains, "and indeed continues to drive YPO's diverse membership."

At YPO's core is what it calls a simple, extraordinary idea and mission. This, reveals Damron, is what's known within the organization as 'Better Leaders through Lifelong Learning and Idea Exchange.'

"The entire YPO is built around this premise," he adds, wrapping up, "and every YPO member embraces it, enriching their lives and driving transformation, continued learning, and a never-ending appetite for knowledge."
